Following allegations of bribery over tanker contracts, a senior BP employee has been suspended according to reports in The Daily Telegraph. BP’s global chartering manager, Lars Dencker Nielsen, has been put on a leave of absence after a letter from a whistleblower was sent to the oil major’s chief executive Robert Dudley and the Serious Fraud Office, outlining issues which point to the alleged corrupt behaviour
